This family has so much to celebrate – the fifth birthday of their daughter and the anticipated arrival of their second child.  Baby brother is a Rainbow Baby – a child born shortly after experiencing a pregnancy loss.  The name is derived from the promise of a rainbow – hope after the emotional storm of infant loss, in the form a a precious new life.  This family is expecting their new addition any day now, and along with that anticipated event they are celebrating the fifth birthday of their daughter.

Mom brought along a tiny pair of tennis shoes that matched Dad’s shoes for the photos.  We took a few photos with those adorable little shoes, just waiting to be filled by sweet baby feet.  Of course, big sis steals the show with her perfect posing!

Big Sister is Five

We took these photos to celebrate baby brother, but also big sister, who just turned five.  This girl is a super model, rock star, dancer, and ball of energy all at once.  I love her style and her energy – I think she will make an excellent big sister!
